The Data Manager, Content Acquisition & Rights Management (CARM) will help direct a centralized function for our divisions for the acquisition and distribution of 3rd party content. - Minimize legal risks by working with internal legal teams, Global Regulatory Affairs and business people to ensure that S&P’s use of vendor data is in compliance with contract terms.
- Manage workflow for contract initiation and approval
- Negotiate master agreements for S&P, thus reducing the number of duplicate contracts with the same vendors for similar data
- Work closely with other pillars of the Data Solutions & Operations organization in projects and initiatives that require 3rd party data to ensure that projects can deliver on those content requirements
- Work with global CARM resources on development and enhancement of systems and other support tools
