The group offers a challenging position as a VBA Developer that requires both business and technical skills to build a spreadsheet-based trade capture application. Three plus years of VBA development experience along with strong experience in fixed income or derivatives, especially related to market standards and trading analytics, is required. The primary focus of this role is to transform business needs into technical solutions with an emphasis on short turnaround times, quality of coding, and the capability to fully understand and fulfil requirements. SDLC and strong software deployment skills will be used to successfully fill this role. Flexibility is essential, as this candidate will be required to effectively manage changes in client requirements and priorities in a dynamic and highly demanding environment. He/she should be a proactive team player with the ability to work in a moderately structured environment and should continually challenge himself/herself to increase his/her analytical skills, design techniques, application development and software evaluation and deployment methods. This position involves close coordination with internal clients; therefore strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Experience in developing Excel/VBA based solutions for business problems. Familiarity with TOAD or other Oracle database table browsing application. C# experience a plus. Experience with development methodology (SDLC) a plus.
