As the IT Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing a small team of third line technical specialists. You will need a broad technical background to allow you to “join up” server, desktop, database, storage, project management & networking professionals. This is a key role in the development of an IT department as it transitions to a wider group remit.
£50,000 to £54,000 pa plus attractive bonus, good quality pension scheme, family BUPA and other ‘blue-chip’ benefit

What is important to us is that you have strong leadership and management skills, which will be demonstrated by how you communicate, engage and influence people in an environment where team work is key. With experience of managing people in an operational environment, you will embrace change, using your strong interpersonal and influencing skills to challenge current thinking and deliver improvements to processes and the team.
A strong foundation and / or qualification in ITIL, Prince2 would be a distinct advantage. |
