Applications are invited for the position of 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst reporting to the Service Desk Supervisor within the IT and Facilities department. Working as part of a small team you will provide second line support to the business liaising with the service desk you will resolve any outstanding issues and provide feedback and analysis. Experience in a busy IT environment is essential, as is knowledge of Windows XP and Vista operating systems, desktop applications, Office 97 - 07, Network, Cisco to CCNP, Servers, Windows 2003 - 08 and HP Proliant. Knowledge of basic Oracle/SQL DBA, VB or C#.Net or similar programming would be an advantage.

The successful candidate should be customer focused and understand the importance of meeting service level agreements, along with excellent technical abilities, accurate keyboard skills and good verbal and written communication skills.
