A unique opportunity has arisen in a Renewable Energy Private Equity firm for a Junior Carbon Trader, focusing initially on spot EUA / CERs with a view to becoming more sophisticated as the knowledge base grows into more complex products such as swaps, options and other vanilla derivatives, also other energy products such as oil, power, gas and coal.

The ideal candidate MUST have experience in trading, minimum of 6 months, and it must be with another physical commodity, ideally energy, but softs / metals could also work. Carbon experience is desirable, but not essential, but you must at least have a strong demonstrable interest in the markets.
Educational background, you will ideally have a Masters in finance / economics or a related subject, but at minumum an undergraduate degree.
The firm is a global private equity focusing on investments into the renewable energy sector. |
