Major Duties Job Description The role will involve the following:- • Mentoring other engineers • Managing projects • Occasional site visits • Contributing to research and development • Consultancy work and liaison with clients Preferred skills:- (some of the following) • Corrosion Engineering • Cathodic Protection • Corrosion Testing • Corrosion Risk Assessment / Risk Based Inspection • Use of Inhibitors • Coatings • Material Selection • Failure Investigation • Familiarity with recognised national and international codes for corrosion assessments

Qualifications Expectations / Personal traits • BSc minimum, Chartered Engineer status and/or PhD would be an advantage but not a requirement • A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the offshore industry • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills • The capability to effectively express opinion and resolve contentious issues is important to the job • Good Project Management skills • Good mentoring skills • Good networking skills and willingness to apply knowledge regionally • Good client interaction skills
