We currently require a Generation Shift Supervisor to oversee our Main Plant Generation processes and ensure they’re safe, clean and well run.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will ensure our Main Plant Generation process is safe, clean and well run around the clock. It’s quite a responsibility; taking accountability for supervision, safety and welfare of a shift team who operate our six generating units and common plant.
It’s not for those who enjoy routine. You’ll organise shift cover, carry out regular plant inspections and supervise, develop and appraise your team. Indeed, getting the best from them will be the key to your success and improving all aspects of the running of our Generation Business. Instilling a sense of plant ownership within the team, ensuring testing and plant inspections are progressed, and encouraging respect for our plant are also among the challenges here.
