You’ll be involved in the slightly longer-term side of the Generation department. Using your extensive knowledge of power station systems and operation, you’ll liaise with colleagues across the business and offer guidance that ensures things run smoothly every day. You’ll also take a lead on project work, investigate, diagnose and resolve plant and system problems, carry out investigations, and develop new initiatives. This will put you in a position to have a real impact on our innovative projects, including the new biomass developments.
Within this innovative environment, the company’s Generation Team has a particularly important remit. Ideally, you’ll have experience in a coal-fired power station, a relevant HNC/D qualification, and a technical operations background.
